How much do custom cakes cost?

Pricing varies for every custom cake depending on the size, flavors/filling, fondant decorations, toppers, details, etc. From there, labor hours are factored in as well. Please visit the price page for more information on cake pricing.

Why isn't the cake cost just the base price on the website?

The base pricing lets you know how many servings you will get for each size, & the pricing for BASIC cake work (buttercream frosting finish with minimal decoration including a frosting boarder, writing, sprinkles etc.) Once we are adding other details & hours of work to the cake, the price will be adjusted.

Why is there a certain time frame for placing a custom cake order?

Custom cake work takes lots of time, sometimes days & it is just me baking, decorating, answering emails etc. I ask for a MINIMUM of 10 to 14 days’ notice for custom cake work, depending on the level of customization you're looking for. I often can, and do, accommodate last minute requests depending on how busy I am that week, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Why is full payment needed for my custom order?

When I accept your order, there is a lot that goes into making sure your it gets completed on time. From ordering materials early enough to make sure they arrive in time, hand-making fondant pieces days in advance, & turning down other orders. Unfortunately, in the past customers have canceled the day before or didn’t show up to pick up their order. This leaves me with a cake that I cannot resell that I’ve spent lots of time on, turned down other orders for & bought materials for it that I can’t return. Full payment lets us know you are serious about your order & assures you that a spot is held for the date you need. *ORDERS ARE NOT CONFIRMED OR PUT IN OUR CALENDER UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED, EVEN IF DETAILS ARE DISCUSSED.

Do you deliver?

No I do not offer delivery. Since it is just me, on the weekends I have lots of pickups & orders that I am working on making it too difficult for me to deliver.

I sent an email, when will I hear back?

You will receive an email back within 24-48 hours. Please do not send multiple emails. Emails are answered in the ordered they are received so sending multiples emails will just bump you down further on my end!
